Art3mis concept art tutorial. Here is another quick digital painting video tutorial in Photoshop, Art3mis. This piece is inspired by a novel, Ready Player One.

So I thought I would just do a character design for fun. This painting takes about a bit over an hour or so to finish. I have a vague idea of a super futuristic soldier suit. Basically I usually start off with simple shapes with distinguish color to create composition. Then I will flesh out the idea with detail and lighting. That is all for now.

Art3mis is a famous gunter from a book, Ready Player one. She is first mentioned in Chapter 0002. Wade Watts, also known as Parzival, claims she is the owner of “Arty’s Missives,” a blog dedicated to her search of Halliday’s egg.
