Return of Condor Hero, Yang Guo and Long’er painting. Here is a finished color version of the sketch I did a couple days ago.
I get some free time off from my projects. So I have a bit of spare time to do some personal work. This one I try to leave brush strokes and marks to make it looks like traditional oil painting and/or Chinese brush painting. Though I did it using Photoshop CS5 and Wacom tablet Intuo4 because it is a lot more convenience for me to paint. This one takes me about a day or two approximately.
Like I mentioned before that I am a big fan of Wuxia novels and TV series, especially anything by Louis Cha (Jing Yong 金庸). This sketch is my version of Yang Guo 杨过 and XiaoLongNu 小龙女 from Return of the Condor Hero, 神鵰俠侶. I am hoping to make more illustration of my favorite characters from Jing Yong’s novels if I have time. Next one I already have Guo Jing and Rong’er sketch done. Hopefully I will finish and post it too soon.
