How to draw Blood Elf from World of Warcraft. This post you will learn to draw a female Blood Elf character from step by step images with in depth detail instruction. This is a quick demo drawing that took me about thirty minutes for demo step by step drawing tutorial. It is also a good sketching practice, and it is not a finished drawing. This tutorial will show you how to draw a female Blood Elf’s facial feature, hair, and her upper body along with arms and shoulders. First, I usually start drawing simple shapes using bold lines to established base or drawing foundation of a character. The reason I started off like that because I want to achieve accurate proportion before I actually start finalize the darker lines. We can build the detail on top of the foundation, trust me this way is a lot easier. It is important to get correct shape, proportion, and facial feature for initial sketch first. Remember to observe the object carefully then keep it simple and keep the foundation correct before you drawing on top of it. The best way to improve your drawing is to attend life drawing session nearest you.
While the feeling of the general public is that the blood elves are evil, most of these opinions are drawn from what they have previously observed from their experiences in playing as the human-blood elf campaign in WarCraft III. However, it is important to remember that the playable blood elves in Burning Crusade will not be the same as the playable blood elves in previous Warcraft titles. These blood elves draw their energies from demonic pests and mana beasts, the equivalent of rats or lesser rodents.
Long ago the exiled high elves landed on the shores of Lordaeron. They struck out to find a new home, and after many battles with the trolls, established the kingdom of Quel’Thalas. Using a vial of sacred water stolen from the first Well of Eternity, the high elves created a fount of mystical power at a convergence of ley energies in Quel’Thalas. They named this fountain the Sunwell. Its potent arcane magic fed and strengthened the high elves, and soon the wondrous city of Silvermoon was established.

Here is a final drawing of Blood Elf.

Below are step by step images how to draw Blood Elf from World of Warcraft.  Step one, I start drawing using basic tilt egg shape for her head then a very loose drawing of her upper body.  Step two, I draw three line over part of her face to establish space where I will draw her eyes, nose, and mouth.  The horizontal line should be about half the height of the egg shape.  The bottom of the nose should be half way between eyes’ level and bottom of the face (chin).  And mouth should be half way between that.  Step three, one I have establish the facial structure using guide, then I can draw over with more detail on her eyes, nose, etc.  Step four, I shade in some light and medium gray.  Step five, now I use final black line to finish off the drawing.
