In this tutorial, I explain in the demo how to draw natural standing poses. I usually use all these poses in my character design process.
-Torso = box will help with twist, turn and direction.
-Pelvis = box will help with twist, turn and direction.
-Leg = cylinder and contour lines will help settle direction and space (Z) of thighs/knees and lower legs.
-Arm = cylinder and contour line will help with movement, direction (X,Y,Z) and action.
-Head = Egg shape + side planes + top plane will help with direction and turn.
-Face = Cross X will help with turn, tilt, direction and face construction.
-Hands and feet = flat box for directions and positions

*If you are a painter, this will also help with setting up light and shadow on the body.
