Digital painting tutorial knight of axe. This tutorial shows you how to draw and paint a scene with a northern knight riding warhorse. Initially this piece was inspired by house of Stark of the north in Game of Thrones. Though I was thinking about its history prior to the Song of Ice and Fire series timeline. Way before the Targaryen conquest, the leaders of House Stark ruled over the region as the Kings in the North. King Torrhen Stark was on the throne at the time of the Targaryen conquest and marched his army south to face them. He surrendered when he saw their vast host and dragons, believing that fighting was futile. He was made Lord Paramount of the North and served them as Warden of the North.

It’s been a while since I release any new premium tutorial and a lot of you have ask me if I would make a tutorial on illustration and lighting technique. This digital painting tutorial knight of axe is short enough and get right to the point. Though it required you to have some experience in digital painting already.
