Like I promised, finally I have some time to make Star Lord painting tutorial. In this tutorial, I am painting a character called Star Lord from The Guardians of the Galaxy. This video shows you my speed painting technique and talks about foundations that you will need for speedpainting or any digital painting. I was really excited when I saw the trailer from Marvel so I have to paint the dude.
Star-Lord (Peter Quill) is a fictional character, a superhero, son of a human mother and alien father, Quill assumes the mantle of Star-Lord, an interplanetary policeman. He is leader of the space-based superhero team Guardians of the Galaxy.

    Probably for a day or two of following? I would say, if you are asking that question. It just pop up as default in CS5 just to show you what color you are selecting. Nothing more. What do you think it does? Does it do anything that help with the process in the video that I paint? I think not.

    I’ve actually been following you for a year but drawing on paper and starting digital. It seemed like you were able to change colors quicker, so I thought it was like a quick color palette wheel that you were dipping into.

    Focus on what I said in the videos you will be fine. I actually said I pick the color from the existing image I painted once I have the color and value established. You can look for some easier ones to start with also.
