Once Upon A Time In Shanghai trailer

Once Upon A Time In Shanghai trailer. Growing up watching Kung Fu movie and daily TV, I am a huge fan of the master choreographer, Yuen Woo Ping, and master martial artist Sammo Hung. I also love Betty Sun since “Shanghai Triad” or “The Bund.” I cannot wait to buy this movie when it is out. Here is a trailer to share with you guys. From what I’ve heard and seen, there are probably nothing special about this movie, but purely visually beautiful specially for any of martial art fan.

In 1930s, labourers from all over the country were rushing to the flourishing city of Shanghai. Ma Yongzhen (Philip Ng), a youthful man from Shangdong, arrived at this prosperous city working as a dock labourer. He moves to Shanghai in the hope of becoming rich. But ends up using his kung fu skills to survive and against the evil Japanese Imperialist.

This guy has a really good review on the movie if any of you are curious.

The Wong Ching Po directed, Yuen Woo Ping choreographed martial arts film Once Upon A Time In Shanghai is rapidly approaching its theatrical release in Chinese speaking territories and that means the arrival of the proper theatrical teaser and trailer. And that means Philip Ng, Andy On and Sammo Hung throwing down old school style.

Happy Chinese New Year!
Year of the horse.
