Maleficent digital painting tutorial

Maleficent digital painting tutorial part 3 of 4. I did not intend it to make it four part in the beginning. I was set out for only three for this set of tutorial. But then I end up adding people in the background to complete the whole scene. This tutorial is the third part of the series that I made for illustration tutorial. In part one, I draw a character with pencil and paper. Part two, I use Sketchbook Pro 6 to rough out base color and basic design for her. This part, I am showing you how to paint Maleficent and finish the illustration in Photoshop CS5.
In this scene, I follow the original children book story line. “The turn of old fairy had now come, and she declared, while her head shook with malice, that the princess should pierce her hand with a spindle and die of the wound. This dreadful fate threw all the company into tears of dismay,” And below is the image I come up with.
