Scarlet Witch drawing tutorial part one of three. In this part of the tutorial, we are going to just draw lines for the character, Scarlet Witch from The Avenger, and block in shapes. You will also learn how to draw a female figure with her left arm coming forward as foreshortening shot. You will learn basic technique on how to blocking in form and messes before you start painting. The character I am drawing is the Scarlet Witch or Wanda Maximoff. She is a fictional comic book character that appears in books published by Marvel Comics.

Here is the final drawing of Scarlet Witch so far, it is still work in progress.

The Scarlet Witch can tap into mystic energy for reality-altering effects; this power was formerly limited to the creation of “hex-spheres” of reality-disrupting quasi-psionic force to cause molecular disturbances in a target’s probability field, resulting in spontaneous combustion, deflection of objects in flight, and so on. She later became able to alter reality on a far greater scale, creating entire armies of enemies from nowhere.
I am very excited when I heard that Marvel is going to add her into the up coming Avengers movie. So I thought I should do a nice long three part tutorials on her.
