Mistborn, Vin character design

Vin character design from Misborn, a novel by Brandon Sanderson. This is not an official character design by any mean. I just made it for my own pleasure because I really like the book after I read it. So far I am only on book two of the Mistborn Trilogy. (Mistborn: Final Empire, The Well of Ascension: Book Two of Mistborn, and The Hero of Ages: Book Three of Mistborn.) Vin is the main protagonist of the Mistborn Trilogy. She was recruited to help overthrow the Lord Ruler by Kelsier, and played a pivotal role in the Lord Ruler’s defeat and the end of Final Empire.
Sanderson displays great world-building talents in Mistborn. Not only to we have a strange backdrop in the environment, but good history to fill it with. The mists and the Mistwraiths are weird and different. The magic system is, perhaps, the element (pun intended, as you’ll soon understand) that stands out most in the novel. Much has been made of Vin’s ability to swiftly learn allomancy; however, both she and Kelsier were the most fully-drawn characters. Other characters- Marsh, Breeze, etc- were more shallowly drawn.
Vin is a Mistborn of great power and skill. She can pierce Copperclouds through usage of the earring she got from her mother, which Hemalurgically increases her abilities to sense other Allomancers. She has great skill with most other metals, and can make use of Duralumin to control Koloss, Kandra, and potentially Steel Inquisitors.
I would like to design more characters from the series because there are some very interesting character the author establishes in the book.

Here is a final character design for Vin from Mistborn.

Here is a video process of how I paint a character. I did not record the whole process, the video just show part of the process mainly hands.

Photoshop Digital painting tutorial. How to paint hand and fist in a simple and easy way. This tutorial show you how to rough out a shape as base or foundation, then block in color and value to give its basic geometry shape. Once you have the geometry shape with correct lighting, then you can go in and give it more detail and make it look like a painting of a hand or fist.

Xia you gotta do a version of the Steel Inquisitors! Those are really creepy in the book, would love to see your idea for their design.
