How to draw Crystal, Crystallia Amaquelin, from Marvel comics. Crystal is a member of the Inhumans and the younger sister of Medusa, Queen of the Inhumans. She has the power to manipulate the four classical elements of earth, air, fire, and water. Crystal was born into the royal family of the Inhumans, a hidden race preoccupied with genetics. The Inhumans developed the Terrigan Mists, a mutagenic compound routinely applied to Inhuman children, as with Crystal, who was exposed in infancy.
In this tutorial, you will learn to draw Crystal, Crystallia Amaquelin, simple step by step instruction.  I will draw her in a front view standing pose.  As long as you follow the guideline correctly, you will be able to get result. It is important to know anatomy as an artist, specially if you want to be good at character design or concept artist. Most of Marvel and DC superheroes have form fitting uniform. So it is necessary to know muscle groups and anatomy. Though you don’t have to know every muscles on the body, but it is still very important to make sure that the major muscle groups are correct.
Crystal can animate and manipulate the four basic “elemental” substances: earth, air, fire, and water, either individually or in various combinations. She is also in superior physical condition due to her Inhuman physiology, though she is abnormally vulnerable to pollutants.

Below are step by step how to draw Crystal. Step one, I constructed the face.  Step two, I drew eyes, nose, and lips over the existing construction lines.  Step three, I drew hair, upper body, and one of her arm up.  Step four, I finished her body and both arms.  Step five, I refine her body shape.
