How to draw Black Gold Saw. Black★Gold Saw is a girl with red eyes and long black hair. A red flame shoots out from her right eye. She has a pair of curved black horns whose color turns to red as it reaches the tip. Like Dead Master, Black★Gold Saw also has skeletal claws. Her outfit is similar to Black★Rock Shooter’s except for the design of her jacket and her bikini top; her jacket extends into a worn-out cape which is dyed red at the end. In this tutorial you will learn to draw Black★Gold Saw with costume along with her huge weapon. I will show you step by step drawing her face and body in a running action pose from the side view with her right arm holding a big saw. Again, I am trying to keep the Black★Gold Saw character as close to the original as I can because I really like the original look of all the character in the series. I hope you like the tutorial and the final drawing. Tip on drawing is to use simple shape to your advantage in the beginning stage of sketch. As in any tutorial, I usually start my rough sketch with simple geometry shapes to construct the basic Manga head and body. By following this process, you will find drawing is lot easier. It is very important to get the shape and proportion right in the beginning. If you understand its basic foundation, it will be easier to draw anything. If you want to be really good at drawing, you will have to practice at least a few to many hours a day.
Black★Gold Saw ブラック★ゴールドソー is part of the supporting cast of the OVA series Black★Rock Shooter. She seems to be one of the main characters in the anime series. Her human counterpart is Saya Irino. Her weapon of choice is a large sword with golden blade and a black saw-edge on its reverse side. It has a long handle with a skull-like object on top and a hilt shaped like a crescent; its name is King Saw.
Below are step by step how to draw Black Gold Saw. Step one, we started with her head shape. Step two, once we nailed down the shape then we can add detail such as eyes, nose, mouth and hair style. Step three, I sketch her upper body roughly. Step four, I then added her long flowing hair behind her along with rough sketch of both arms. Step five, I finished up the detail on her upper body. Then I sketched rough shape for both her legs and big saw. Step six, once I got the shape as accurate as I can, I added more detail and finished the drawing.
Here is a close up of the character.
