How to draw Anime character Sailor Uranus, Haruka Tenoh or Amara Tenoh. Haruka Tenoh first awoke as Sailor Uranus, during a fight with a Heart Snatcher. Michiru transformed in order to protect her but was attacked and beaten. Haruka transformed in order to save Sailor Neptune who told her that her destiny was to become Sailor Uranus, one of the four Outer Senshi. In this tutorial you will learn to draw a Manga character Sailor Uranus, Haruka Tenoh. I will show you step by step drawing her face in side view and body standing with one arm angle up and the other on her hip. This version of Sailor Uranus Anime drawing is my version of her charater as a tribute to the series. It is not the original style they use in the Anime or Manga for that matter. I like drawing character with different take of my own rather than copying the original. Hope you like it. Before I start a drawing, I usually do a rough sketch. I usually start rough it out with simple geometry shapes to construct the basic Manga head and body. By following this process, you will find drawing is lot easier. It is very important to get the shape and proportion right in the beginning. If you understand its basic foundation, it will be easier to draw anything. If you want to be good at drawing, you will have to practice at least a few hours a day.
Sailor Uranus is one of the taller senshi with short blonde hair and blue eyes. While in sailor form, she wears a standard uniform colored in dark blue and yellow, and unlike most of the other Senshi, her gloves extend only to mid-forearm. She wear dark blue, loose ankle boots and a single gold hoop in her left ear (in the manga, she has a second one in her right ear). Her collar has no stripes. In the manga, when Sailor Moon first transformed into Super Sailor Moon, her brooch changed from a circle to a heart.
Below are step by step how to draw Sailor Uranus Haruka Tenoh or Amara. Step one, I sketched a round circular shape as her head on the side view with nose line and a few construction lines. Step two, I drew her eye, eyebrows, nose, and mouth. At this point, I also added her short hair style. Step three, I blocked out her torso. Step four, I then drew both her arms, one is up and the other rest on her hip. Step five, I drew her hands and bow on her chest. Step six, I added gloves, mini skirt and her legs.
