How to draw Snake Eyes from G.I. Joe. Snake Eyes is one of the few mysterious and the more dangerous members of the G.I. Joe Team. He is one of the original and most popular members of the G.I. Joe Team, and is most known for his rivalry with Storm Shadow. In this tutorial, you will learn to draw Snake Eyes in an easy to follow step by step tutorial. Unlike some of my intermediate or digital painting tutorials, I try to make this as simple and easy as possible. It is very important to have some knowledge of anatomy for any artist, specially if you want to be good at character design for games or penciller for comics. Most of US comics, the uniform are form fitting so you will have to draw muscles and anatomy. Though you don’t have to know every muscles on the body, but it is still very important to make sure that the visible anatomy is correct. The best way I would suggest to learn anatomy is to to attend life drawing session nearest you along with anatomy referent book for artists. In this drawing, you will see Snake Eyes in a natural standing pose holding a sword.
Snake-Eyes served as a recon ranger in the jungles of Southeast Asia. All that can be said after that stint is he went on a long sabbatical, most believe it was in Japan. Some say he was training with the same ninja clan that begat Storm Shadow. We know his fighting skills have become more efficient and deadly. Rumors surfaced that when he was recruited into the Joe Team by Hawk.
Below are step by step how to draw Snake Eyes. Step one, I drew his skull (head) shape along with mask construction lines. I also added a rough line for his body. Step two, I drew his visors along the front of his face without nose or mouth. I also draw both his arms really rough, one is holding up and the other relaxing downward. Step three, I drew additional muscles lines on his body and arms. Step four, I added his utility belts on his body and around his waist. Step five, I drew his wrists’ bands then add more detail to his belts. Step six, I drew both his hands, sword and finished up the rest of his body.
