You should not be intimidate with all the muscles, anatomy, and detail of the characters. Before I attempt to draw something, I will break down the subject in simple geometry shapes first. I will always make the drawing or initial sketch simple, that way it is easier when you draw more detail on top of the simple shapes. It is a lot easier to draw once you observe the over all shape of the object or person you are trying to draw. In this drawing, you will see cable in a natural standing pose.

Below are step by step how to draw Lucas Bishop. First, I began with his head shape. In this image he tilts his head down a bit. Step two, I then drew his eyes, eyebrows, nose and lips along the previous measure lines. Step three, I roughly sketch his massive muscular body and both his arms. Step four, I drew goat-T mustache, scarf and muscles detail on his upper body. Step five, I drew his belt, gloves and additional detail for his uniform. Step six, I added his x-men logo and stripes along his uniform.
