How to draw Blue Beetle from DC comics. Blue Beetle is the legacy name of several super-heroes with different abilities. Dan Garrett is the original version, an archaeologist who discovers and uses the Blue Beetle Scarab to fight crime. His successor was Ted Kord, taking up his mentor’s mantle using martial arts and gadgetry when he couldn’t unlock the scarab’s power, eventually becoming a member of Justice League International, Living Assault Weapons and Super Buddies.
In this tutorial, you will learn to draw Blue Beetle with step by step basic drawing lesson. I usually start drawing with simple geometry shapes to construct the basic Manga head and body. By following this process, you will find drawing is lot easier. The secret is to get the shape and proportion right in the beginning. Also make sure the shape of eyes, nose and mouth place in the accurate spot. It is important that you should study drawing figure from real people, then you can always use the knowledge to translate it into comics art. It is more difficult the other way around, but it is possible.

Below are step by step how to draw Blue Beetle from DC universe.  Step one, I sketched his head with measured lines for the face and rough torso.  Step two, I then drew his eyes, mouth, and roughed out both his arm.  Step three, I then add design on his face, armor on his chest, and scarab on his back.  Step four, I drew armor plates throughout his body.  Step five, I added armor plates detail along his arms and his legs.  Step six, I added more detail all over his body.
