First, if you can break down each part of the face in to basic geometry shapes before you start adding detail. This method will make your drawing process a lot easier, no more struggling or erasing over and over. Suigetsu was born in the Hidden Mist Village where he was often referred to as the reincarnation of Zabuza. Suigetsu and his brother dreamt of joining the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist but their ambitions were cut short when Suigetsu’s brother was killed and Suigetsu was later captured by Orochimaru. Below are step by step how I draw Houzuki Suigetsu. Step one, I just drew a regular basic Manga head structure. I then drew a vertical line from top to the bottom of the face. After that, I drew two horizontal lines across the middle the face. The face is a three quarter view. Those vertical and horizontal lines will help us construct his facial structure and more detail. Step two, Once I have his head constructed, I then added eyes, nose and mouth along the vertical and horizontal lines. Step three, I keep refining the base sketch so that all the elements will be at the most accurate positions. Then I drew in the hair style, headgear, and his big collars or scarf. Step four, I drew both eyes within the gap on the parallel horizontal lines. In step four and five, I just added more detail according to his character design.
