Guild Wars 2 character concept Pirates. Here are some concept work I did for Guild Wars 2 Pirate warrior. I was working on mainly as a character concept artist all the Guild Wars series and first half of Guild Wars 2. The character design below are for Guild War 2 that I did for some sort of pirate sets in the game. These aren’t typical pirates, they are fantasy fiction pirate with armor. I spend about a day for each concept painting. These are design for warrior class. The Warrior has access to the primary Strength attribute that increases their armor penetration with martial weapons, and is able to wear heavy armor providing the highest protection against physical damage of all professions. With numerous fictional pirate stories came also romantic idealized interpretations of pirate life. Treasure Island, one of the best known fictional accounts of piracy, still instills ideas of pirate parrots, eye patches and peg legs into the imaginations of new generations of readers.
Guild Wars is an episodic series of online 3D fantasy role-playing games developed by ArenaNet and published by NCsoft. It is not an MMORPG, but instead a CORPG due to significant differences from the MMORPG genre. Mainly, the instancing. It provides two main modes of gameplay—a cooperative role-playing component and a competitive player vs. player (PvP) component—both of which are hosted on ArenaNet’s servers. Three stand-alone episodes and one expansion pack were released in the series from April 2005 to August 2007.
Guild Wars 2 is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game in development by ArenaNet. Set in the fantasy world of Tyria, the game follows the re-emergence of Destiny’s Edge, a disbanded guild dedicated to fighting the Elder Dragons, a Lovecraftian species that has seized control of Tyria in the time since the original Guild Wars. The game takes place in a persistent world with a story that progresses in instanced environments.
