Below are step by step how to draw Samus Aran from Metroid side view of her face. Step one, I start with a circle then draw two intersection lines for her chin. Then I draw two parallel horizontal line to be eye level measurement. Step two, I begin drawing her eye and eyebrow inside the parallel lines, then a nose and part of upper lip. Step three, now I am finishing the rest of the face. Step four, now I start to draw and shade her long hair that flowing from behind. Step five, I use dark gray to establish basic shadow for the whole piece. Step six, I expand the canvas a bit so I can put a little bit of her armor in the picture.
