In this tutorial, I just start off with face and a little of her upper body, but then in the final drawing I decided to add her bottom and part of her upper legs in to the sketch. I thought that would be more appropriate since I have to somehow show a bit of her X-men brand costume. The costume she wares I actually mix the traditional version with a contemporary jacket. Shadowcat or Kitty Pryde possesses a “phasing” ability that allows her and objects or people with which she is in contact to become intangible. This power also disrupts any electrical field she passes through, and lets her simulate levitation. Below are step by step images tutorial along with the video drawing instruction. Step one, I drew a circle shape that will later be a head. Step two, I sketched eyes, nose, mouth and some hair very loosely base on the initial drawing I had. Step three, I begin to flesh out her eye then eyebrow. Step four, I continue drawing over the initial facial construction lines into a full face.

Step five, I start to block out her body using black paint. Step six, I add more detail onto her hair and basic shadow. Step seven, I paint in dark gray on her hair and add some basic light and shadow. Step eight, I draw a jacket then outline the whole image. We are finish!
