I usually keep in mind their body language, gesture, and movement whenever I am sketch, drawing or painting woman figure. This video is a demo to show you how I usually start design a character. I will do a lot of thumbnails to get tons of ideas down. Then I will select the best one that suit your purpose out of five and refine it from there. Some of the rejected can be saved for the later use or later modification. It is also a good brain storming exercise for artists.
