Round 4 Dragon Hunter is OVER!

I see a lot of great art work out there.  I have to say some of you have improve a lot since the first time I saw some of your art work.   I just want to say thank you to all of you who participate.  This is what we are here for, to draw and paint something fun.  And gradually you are getting better and better.  I hope eventually some of you will have enough good pieces to put into your portfolio for future use.  Congratz to all of you.  Thanks again!!!  ;-)

   Thank you for arranging this. I think it is still as fun. It is really a motivation boost compared to just sitting and painting all alone. Very good for improving.

   Yeah, I was about to say that Fede, I think we have a troll in our midst. I know it will be a lot of extra work Xia, but maybe a member thing should be put in place, where we request membership along with a sample of our work. So that way you can approve of any posters/ people that rate, that frequent the site? Just a thought anyway. Probably more effort than it’s worth.

   Trolls are everywhere. The best way is to ignore them completely. Is too complicated to do with her ​​detective work. Don`t worth.

   Agree with Octavian… Let’s just do the best from this anyway. A price and a place in the sun is great, but the development and fun on the way is the important thing.

    It is not the same person who vote this thread 1/5. Other thread, there are a few people. TROLL you are talking about are among us. There are a few of us vote 1/5 for 5-6 threads in the roll. I won’t name names, you know who you guys are. I understand people should be able to vote whatever they’d like. But please be thoughtful and also try to give constructive criticism. Watch out! anyone vote unjustly. BEFAIR!!! I can see them. Just sayin

    hmm.. he seems to be an ok guy to me. newbie and might not be aware of how to vote? he’s got a kid with sleeping probs so he might just be a little off and unconcentrated and unaware of voting people down…?

    it’s great that you can see who it was and ask him the question though…

    Yeah, it seems. I just don’t see any reason why anyone would vote this thread 1/5 It is irrelevant, unless they aren’t happy with the contest. Oh well.

    Are you able to see if it was the same person doing it on all the posts Xia? should check the log on mine, i’m sure it happened at least once. The 5 star system is pretty self explanatory and globally recognised as a rating system.

    Only a few people, it’s very typical. Nothing is out of ordinary. It is OK to vote 1/5, that is not a problem. But if someone vote 10 in the roll 1/5, that is unlikely thoughtful. I understand people should be able to vote whatever they’d like. But please be thoughtful and also try to give constructive criticism along with it. That is why we are here, I think. But it happen in any forum or social networking. When you can be anonymous, people become cruel. Very cruel.

    k guys i must confess, i’ve been trolling :/ anyone who participates gets 5/5 from me :\ but for the most part i think some people rate the pieces in comparison to the other ones but mehhh, i’m over the rating winning thing. also, i hope no one is afraid of participating because their english ins’nt too good. i’d like to see more participants from around the world but if that’s the case…

    I know you can vote from 1 to 5 but I don’t think I’d ever vote lower than a 3 (unless the person was rude somehow) because even if I consider something as poorly done I like that the person has tried, and there’s always some good qualities to any artwork that has had effort put into it.

    Anyway cool round guys, some real corkers.

    suuch a difficult choice to make. benjamin’s idea was not my favorite, but his style was so exciting that I have to say it is the most attractive piece. i mean look at the colors. mayer and others were very close to the best though, imo. I feel what jonny is saying, but only 1 guy can win

    Agree with Jonny. That would be more rewarding for guys who are one step behind the best here. Even if I don’t win or something (of course with all these talented artists) you could maybe see progress in like “this time 4 guys voted me as third anyway… I’m getting better!”

    i thinkit is perfect how it is. 2nd & 3rd arent 1st, and since the goal is to get better and win second or lower means is just a novelty title , its like giving a trophy to a losing sports team there would be no reason to try if everyone got a trophy,, just my oppinion,

    Xia what round 5 gonna be? itching to get started and improve..

    i went for milhouses work, because i felt it was the only one that was perfect in its own style, but of course there were alot of other good entries, too.
