Author's Description:
Now this is my first painting with a graphic tablet. And I made it with the smallest intuos4 and the very old Photoshop7. Both of them are shit and sometimes in the two hours of painting i was freaking out. I used not a very good brush because all the new brushes are not working with the old photoshop. So everything was very complicated for me. I decided to buy a cintiq 21ux and I was happy but now I saw that they are out of stock because of that shit in japan. waaaaahhhh wat is this. I want to start digital painting i want to start becoming a concept artist but with that equipment you cant. ok thats it, try to get a cintiq now.
I corrected it a little bit, so now my first painting is finished! I think for the first its ok because i had the reference from daarken.

Dude I know this picture! And I love Daarken’s work! I think you did an excellent job of copying it despite the supposed garbage software you have been using. Hope you get the cintiq soon and a more recent version of photoshop!
It doesn’t matter what soft you use , a good artist is a good artist . And you did an AWESOME job. Well you would need a new tablet – you need that pressure! Good luck!
i agree good piece man
and I agree with above. software helps but artistic intuition helps more.. i mean I use a mouse to do my paintings and just as good as some of the others using tablets. it all in how you use what is at your disposal that counts and a 5* also cause nice work and nice Daarken piece
What is that crying about & you are shittalking your tools?
You should go take a look at Brad Rigney s Art.
He uses Photoshop 7 and he is excellent.
